How much does it cost to automate a home on the Romanian coast?

Can I have a smart home if the apartment is already finished?
Yes. For finished homes we use radio solutions (Zigbee, RF) or battery-powered motorisation — installed without chasing walls. See the smart apartment page for all the options.
I live abroad and only come to the coast in summer. Does that work?
Yes, and it is one of the most common cases we handle. We coordinate the project by email, WhatsApp and video call, in English, with your builder or property manager on site. You see the house from the app wherever you are, and the system runs locally — it does not depend on anyone being there.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The KNX system is local — it lives in your home, on the wired bus. The internet is only used for remote access and updates. If the connection drops, the house works normally: buttons, scenes, sensors, everything.
Am I locked into your technology?
No. KNX is an open standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3), backed by 500+ manufacturers worldwide. The project configuration belongs to you — any authorised KNX integrator can take over the system, at any time. Zero vendor lock-in.
How long does the installation take?
Typically 3-5 weeks for a medium-sized house: 1 week of KNX cabling at the services stage, 2-3 weeks of switchgear and equipment fitting at finishing, 2-5 days of ETS programming and scene commissioning. We fit into the pace of your building site.
