Size of the property
A 60 m² apartment vs a 400 m² villa — the same package costs differently because of the number of zones, sensors and actuators. Roughly linear with m², but not strictly.
Level of automation
Lighting + climate (basic) → +25% for audio + security (comfort) → +30% for outdoor integrations (premium).
Technology chosen
Wired KNX: higher initial investment, 20+ years of reliability. Wireless retrofit: 30-40% lower cost, but technical limitations.

You receive the layout drawings, the KNX electrical schematics and the full equipment list (BoM) — you know exactly what gets installed and where, before the first hole is drilled.

Actuators, sensors, keypads, bus cable, back boxes — everything is in the quote, with brands and quantities. No “small items” invoiced separately at the end.
✓ Installation and cabling labour
Pulling the bus cable, fitting the equipment in the board and the switches on the walls — fully included, not charged by the hour as you go.
✓ ETS commissioning and scene programming
Professional configuration of the system in ETS (the official KNX software) and programming of your scenes — Wake up, Away, Movie — together with you, in the house.
✓ User training (1-2h)
At handover we show you everything: the app, the keypads, the scenes, what to do if you want a change. You leave knowing how to use your home, not just how to admire it.
✓ Documentation and ETS export
The final schematic and the ETS project stay with you. Any authorised KNX integrator can take over the system at any time — you are not tied to us.

KNX equipment has industrial life cycles — the manufacturers’ warranty covers 10+ years, and the standard has existed since 1990 and is backwards compatible.

NOT included (transparency)
✗ Mandatory cloud subscriptions — the system is local
KNX lives in your home, on the wired bus. You pay no monthly subscription to switch on your own lights, and the system works without internet.
✗ Hidden re-cabling costs
The cabling is sized correctly from the start, with spare capacity for extensions. You do not discover two years later that a wall has to be opened for one more circuit.
✗ Vendor lock-in — KNX is a standard, anyone can take it over
KNX is an open standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3) with 500+ manufacturers. The configuration belongs to you — if we disappeared tomorrow, your system keeps working and can be taken over.
✗ Surprise invoices — fixed price in the contract
What you sign is what you pay. Changes of scope are discussed and approved beforehand; they do not appear out of nowhere on the final invoice.
✗ Finishing works (painting, plasterboard)
After cabling, restoring the finishes (filler, paint, plasterboard) stays with your finishing team — we hand over clean, photo-documented routes.
✗ Decorative wall switches above the KNX standard
Premium keypads and frames (glass, metal, designer ranges) are chosen and paid for separately — you choose the aesthetics, we guarantee the function.
✗ Wi-Fi networks / data cabling (separate service)
The data network is a separate project — if you want it from us too, we have a dedicated professional UniFi networking and Wi-Fi service.
✗ Work on non-smart parts
The conventional electrical installation, plumbing or the HVAC itself are not included here — automating them is. For complete electrical installations we have a separate service.
