Amber Villa is a two-floor villa in Bucharest and won first prize at the KNX Romania Awards 2023 in the Residential Project category. The project integrates 72 KNX devices into a single system that controls everything — from lighting and climate to the flood sensors and the Paradox alarm.
Our team joined the project at the architectural design stage. The KNX cabling was pulled through the walls before the finishes, which allowed a clean installation with no visible switches in non-final positions and no leftover cables at the end. ETS commissioning included the configuration of more than 80 scenes (Home, Away, Cinema, Holiday, plus custom scenes programmed at the owners' request).
The documentation handed over includes the printed schematics, the .knxproj export editable by any certified KNX integrator, and the user manual. 10+ year hardware warranty from the manufacturers, 1 business day support SLA.

Air quality monitoring plus flood detection with automatic shut-off of the solenoid valve.
Vaillant heating
Direct control of the EcoTec Plus boiler, integrated with the zoned thermostats.
Access control
Smart lock integrated into the Away / Home scenes.
Video intercom
Integration with the manufacturer's app for remote control.
Heat-recovery ventilation
HRV integrated into the presence scenes.
Daikin climate
Complete AC system integrated with KNX, control per zone.
Weather station
Local, feeds the shading and ventilation scenes automatically.
Garage gate access
Hörmann with KNX control plus scene integration.
Paradox alarm
